В статье анализируется учение христианского мыслителя блаженного Августина о таинствах. Автор указывает, что блаженный Августин считал церковные таинства проявлением жизни Церкви как Тела Христова. В заключении автор отмечает, что, по мнению блаженного Августина, люди через церковные таинства (Крещение, Покаяние, Евхаристия) становятся членами Церкви, в церковных таинствах проявляется жизнь Церкви как Тела Христова.

The article analyzes the teaching of the Christian thinker St. Augustine on the sacraments. The author points out that Blessed Augustine considered the church sacraments to be a manifestation of the life of the Church as the Body of Christ. In conclusion, the author notes that according to St. Augustine, people through the church sacraments (baptism, repentance, Eucharist) become members of the Church, the life of the Church as the Body of Christ is manifested in the church sacraments.

В статье освещается новейшая история Русской Православной Церкви Заграницей (РПЦЗ). Рассматриваются вопросы, связанные с историей церковных разделений и взаимоотношений РПЦЗ с представителями старообрядчества, старостильными группами, различными неканоническими юрисдикциями и западнообрядными приходами. Отмечается особая роль митрополита Илариона (Капрала) в истории поиска канонического единства с представителями неканонических групп, его служение делу церковного единства, предварившее подписание Акта о каноническом общении между РПЦЗ и РПЦ в 2007 г. Являясь Предстоятелем самоуправляемой части Русской Церкви, митрополит Иларион не только выполнял административно-иерар хические функции, но и стал подлинным отцом многомиллионной пастве не только для православного русского рассеяния, но и для вошедших в ограду Православной Церкви англоязычных христиан различных юрисдикций.

The article deals with the recent history of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. Issues related to the history of church divisions and relations between ROCOR and representatives of the Old Believers, Old Calendar groups, various non-canonical jurisdictions and Western Rite parishes are considered. The special role of Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) in the history of the search for canonical unity with representatives of non-canonical groups is noted, his service to the cause of church unity preceded the signing of the Act of Canonical Communion between ROCOR and the ROC in 2007. Being the Primate of the self-governing part of the Russian Church, Metropolitan Hilarion not only performed administrative and hierarchical functions, but also became a true father to a multi-million flock not only for the Orthodox Russian diaspora, but also for the English-speaking Christians of various jurisdictions who entered the fence of the Orthodox Church.

Статья посвящена новым фактам, связанным с процессом изъятия церковных ценностей и имущества на территории современной Мордовской митрополии в условиях гонений на Православную Церковь в 20–30-е годы ХХ столетия. Целью данной статьи является введение в научный оборот архивных материалов, характеризующих процессы ликвидации церквей и изъятия церковных ценностей. Автор приводит конкретные факты и анализирует состояние церковной жизни в указанный период. В заключении делается вывод о том, что в результате антицерковной политики 1930-е годы в Мордовии стали временем тотального закрытия православных храмов и монастырей.

The article focuses on new facts related to the seizure of church valuables and property on the territory of the modern Mordovian metropolis. The conditions were of persecution of the Orthodox Church in the 1920–1930s of the 20th century. The purpose of this article is to introduce into scientific circulation archival materials characterizing the process of Church liquidation and the seizure of church valuables. The author cites specific facts and analyzes the state of church life during this period. In conclusion, it is highlighted that as a result of the anti-church policy, the 1930s in Mordovia became a time of total closure of Orthodox churches and monasteries.

В статье приводятся некоторые факты жизни и служения Господу священников, которые занимали архиерейскую кафедру в г. Барнауле. Целью статьи является изложение наиболее значимых аспектов их деятельности, неизвестных широкому кругу читателей. Анализируя служение архиереев Барнаульской епархии Церкви и людям, вплоть до страданий и смерти, ав тор приходит к выводу, что это не просто биографические данные, а примеры жертвенной любви и пламенной веры, являющиеся неотъемлемыми чертами святости.

The article is devoted to the bishops of the Barnaul diocese in the period from the formation of the Barnaul department in 1908 to its abolition in 1937. The article presents some facts of the life and service to the Lord of the priests who occupied the episcopal chair in Barnaul. The purpose of the article is to present the most significant aspects of their activities that are unknown to a wide range of readers. Analyzing the ministry of the bishops of the Barnaul diocese to the Church and people, up to suffering and death, the author comes to the conclusion that these are not just biographical data, but examples of sacrificial love and fervent faith, which are integral features of holiness.

Статья посвящена достаточно узкому аспекту церковно- государственных отношений в советский период, а именно деятельности уполномоченных Совета по делам Русской Православной Церкви в послевоенные десятилетия (на примере двух областей). В статье рассмотрен ряд аспектов деятельности представителей Совета на местах: отношения с правящим архиереем, сокращение количества церквей, контроль за соблюдением прав верующих, инициативы по оптимизации своей работы и т. п. Специфика работы заключается в определении территориальных границ исследования: Курская и Владимирская области с самого начала реализации сталинской программы сближения с Церковью находились в совершенно разных условиях. Однако, как выяснилось в ходе работы, процессы здесь протекали очень схожие.

The article is devoted to a rather narrow aspect of church-state relations in the Soviet period, namely the activities of the commissioners of the Council for the Affairs of the Russian Orthodox Church in the post-war decades (using the example of two regions). The article examines a number of aspects of the Council’s representatives’ activities in the field: relations with the ruling bishop, reduction of the number of churches, monitoring of observance of the rights of believers, initiatives to optimize their work, etc. The specifics of the work is to determine the territorial boundaries of the study: the Kursk and Vladimir regions from the very beginning of the implementation of the Stalinist program of rapprochement with the Church were in completely different conditions. However, as it turned out during the work, the processes here were very similar.

В статье рассмотрен опыт возрождения служения и чина диаконис игуменьи Екатерины (Ефимовской), настоятельницы Леснинского Свято-Богородицкого женского монастыря в начале XX века в Холмско-Варшавской епархии. Представлена церковная рецепция предложений игум. Екатерины по созданию общины и училища диаконис на базе Леснинского монастыря с целью подготовки женщин-миссионерок для всей России в условиях нарастающего общественно-государственного кризиса. В статье дан обзор деятельности сестёр монастыря по образу древних диаконис при отсутствии официального утверждения предложений игум. Екатерины.

The article examines the experience of the revival of the ministry and the rank of deaconess by hegumeness Ekaterina (Efimovskaya), abbess of the Lesninsky Holy Mother of God Nunnery at the beginning of the 20th century in the Kholmsk-Warsaw diocese. The hegumeness Ekaterina’s church reception of proposals on the creation of a community and a deaconess school on the basis of the Lesninsky nunnery in order to train women missionaries for the whole of Russia in the conditions of the growing social and state crisis is presented. The article provides an overview of the activities of the sisters of the nunnery in the image of the ancient deaconesses in the absence of official approval of the proposals of the hegumeness Ekaterina.

Статья посвящена судьбе одного из старейших православных храмов Оренбуржья и прослеживает всю его двухсотшестидесятипятилетнюю историю. Целью доклада является уточнение имеющихся исторических фактов создания и функционирования храма на протяжении XVIII– XX вв. Основываясь на изучении архивных материалов, авторы отмечают недостаточность документальных свидетельств о жизни православной общины села Новосергиевка в указанный период времени. В заключении делается вывод о необходимости более углублённого изучения данной проблематики с привлечением архивов Уфимской и Самарской епархий.

The St. Sergius of Radonezh church in the village of Novosergievka, now the administrative center of Novosergievsky district of the Orenburg region – one of the first temples of the Russian Orthodox Church in the newly annexed territory – was opened in 1748. According to preserved archival sources, its history remains unclear in the period from 1826 to 1887. In the first years of secular power, the Christian community of Novosergievka was persecuted, which led to the demolition of the temple in 1937. Both priests who served in it were repressed. The St. Sergius of Radonezh church in the village of Novosergievka was rebuilt and consecrated in 2013. A worship cross was installed on the site of the existence of the destroyed church.

Статья посвящена осмыслению феномена новомучени- чества и исповедничества в православном понимании. Ключевым моментом, определяющим новомученика, автор считает великую преданность Христу и смерть за Него, а для исповедника – не отречение от Христа, но сохранение истинной жизни. В заключении делается вывод, что обращение к опыту новомученичества помогает восстановить систему ориентиров христианских ценностей в сознании современного человека, являющихся залогом и условием развития здорового российского общества на современном этапе и в будущем.

The article is devoted to understanding the phenomenon of New martyrdom and confessionalism in the Orthodox understanding. The author considers the great devotion to Christ and death for him to be the key moment defining the new martyr, and for the confessor – not renunciation of Christ, but preservation of true life. In conclusion, it is concluded that the appeal to the experience of New martyrdom helps to restore the system of reference points of Christian values in the consciousness of modern man, which are the key and condition for the development of a healthy Russian society at the present stage and in the future.

Статья посвящена тяжёлому периоду в истории России, связанному с голодом и деятельностью правительства, направленной на оказание помощи голодающим. Целью статьи является анализ интернет-мате- риалов, раскрывающих события 1921–1922 гг. в Советской России. Авторами проведён опрос на основе просмотренных видеосюжетов. Интерпретируя полученные результаты, авторы приходят к выводу о неполном освещении в сети Интернет событий 1921–1922 гг. В заключении отмечается, что студенты, привлечённые к просмотру интернет-материалов, получили новые сведения, связанные с продовольственной катастрофой 1920-х гг.

The article is devoted to a difficult period in the history of Russia associated with the famine and the activities of the government aimed at helping the hungry. The purpose of the article is to analyze Internet materials revealing the events of 1921–1922 in Soviet Russia. The authors conducted a survey on the viewed videos. Interpreting the results obtained, the authors come to the conclusion about incomplete coverage of the events of 1921–1922 on the Internet. In conclusion, it is noted that the students involved in viewing Internet materials received new information related to the food disaster of the 1920s.

Статья посвящена современной росписи одного из старейших православных храмов Оренбуржья, построенного сразу после возведения Оренбургской крепости. Целью статьи является анализ особенностей художественного исполнения и стилистического своеобразия фресок, выполненных художниками иконописной мастерской «Долиаль». Основываясь на изучении русской храмовой живописи и нарративных источников, автор делает вывод о влиянии стиля мастера иконописи XVII века Гурия Никитина на жанровые особенности современной росписи храма Преподобного Сергия Радонежского, расположенного в селе Новосергиевка Оренбургской области.

The article is devoted to the modern painting of one of the oldest Orthodox churches in the Orenburg region, built immediately after the construction of the Orenburg fortress. The purpose of the article is to analyze the features of the artistic performance and stylistic originality of the frescoes made by the artists of the Dolial icon-painting workshop. Based on the study of Russian church painting and narrative sources, the author concludes that the style of the 17th century icon painting master Gury Nikitin influenced the genre features of the modern painting of the St. Sergius of Radonezh Church, located in the village of Novosergievka, Orenburg Region.

В статье рассматривается проблема формирования коллекции произведений иконописи в художественном собрании Третьяковской галереи в условиях постреволюционной России. Автор приводит сведения, что в советский период усилиями реставраторов и хранителей музея многие иконы были ограждены не только от разрушительного воздействия времени, но и от действий, обусловленных идеологическими установками. В заключении указывается, что Третьяковская галерея является крупным музеем с мировым именем, в котором ведётся работа по выявлению памятников иконописи, их реставрация, хранение, экспонирование и изучение.

The article deals with the problem of forming a collection of icon paintings in the art collection of the Tretyakov Gallery in the conditions of post-revolutionary Russia. The author cites information that in the Soviet period, through the efforts of restorers and museum curators, many icons were protected not only from the destructive effects of time, but also from actions caused by ideological attitudes. In conclusion, it is indicated that the Tretyakov Gallery is a major world-famous museum, in which work is underway to identify icon-pain- ting monuments, their restoration, storage, exhibition and study.

Статья посвящена рассмотрению педагогической концепции священнослужителя, философа, педагога, психолога и богослова, представителя русского зарубежья В.В. Зеньковского (1881–1962). Педагогические взгляды учёного основываются на положениях православной антропологии. Центральной идеей концепции воспитания педагога является «оцерковление личности» как духовное приобщение воспитанников к ценностям христианства средствами окружающей культурной среды (литература, искусство, философия). Задачи воспитания педагог видит в подготовке воспитанника к жизни временной и жизни вечной. Актуальность статьи обусловлена повышением интереса к историко-педагогическому опыту отечественных и зарубежных исследователей в вопросах воспитания.

The article is devoted to the consideration of the pedagogical concept of the clergyman, philosopher, teacher, psychologist and theologian, representative of the Russian diaspora V.V. Zenkovsky (1881–1962). The pedagogical views of the scientist are based on the provisions of Orthodox anthropology. The central idea of the teacher’s upbringing concept is the “churching of the personality” as the spiritual familiarization of pupils with the values of Christianity by means of the surrounding cultural environment (literature, art, philosophy). The teacher sees the tasks of education in preparing the pupil for temporary life and eternal life. The relevance of the article is due to the increased interest in the historical and pedagogical experience of domestic and foreign researchers in matters of education.
